Our parents decided to move to Brooklyn, NY, from Nigeria to start a new life after getting married. Our mom was a hairdresser and our dad was a sound engineer. Sometimes, our mom had clients come to the apartment to get their hair done while our dad recorded music at a studio he made out in the third bedroom; this is where he recorded various artists’ soundtracks for a commission.

Fast forward in time, and as we got older, we discovered a lot of hidden talents we had that we knew we could leverage, whether it was designing clothing, doing hair, or even doing makeup. Our artistic journey started in the Coney Island apartment we grew up in and shared with our family…apartment #504. This is how the name Studio 504 came about.

Studio 504's mission is to provide quality and long-lasting clothing options for women while helping them feel comfortable in their own skin.
